Vintage Bathroom Rethink
In this bathroom idea design challenge the designers were tasked with supporting Kerry with reworking her master bathroom by bringing in some modern tones and patterns. To do this they had to find the perfect colour and pattern combination by rethinking;

Our Instagram followers voted this as the winning design and in many ways it is easy to see why. This bathroom idea has held true to the specification of keeping a vintage bathroom style but including some fantastic modern and art deco touches which blend in with other features in the room.
The new wall panel colour matches with the beautifully decorative floor choice that elevates the room by giving a vibrancy throughout without overpowering the client. The quaint vintage bath on legs has been kept and complemented by the new mirror with its exposed metallic frame. This gold frame is highlighted via the striped gold wallpaper backdrop which provides a calming continuity to the room.
The change of metro wall tiles colour retains that vintage feel but the more modern colour certainly has enhanced the room’s style. Perhaps the cleverest part of the design has been the addition of the gorgeous & sustainable wicker basket that captures the brown hues within the decorative flooring.
