Challenge Winner!
Earthy Lounge Chelsea
Our designers were asked to advise Kerry on the lounge design in her characterful Stucco building in West London as part of the Earthy Lounge Chelsea design challenge. The lounge was a little dull, and she couldn’t find the right paint colour. Designers had to assist Kerry;
- Choose the perfect wall colour;
- Rethink the materials; &
- Style to maximise natural textures.
Before and After
The winning interior design took this grey room and turned it into a more luxurious living room idea with an earthy neutral feel & parquet flooring. The room now has a consistent palette within it as opposed to the contrast of the original design.
Gone are the white brick effect walls and replaced with the neutral wall colouring & new matched artwork. The addition of the curtains instead of the gray blinds has provided a much more luxurious feel to the design.
The other item that provides that dash of luxury was the change of the flooring from the dark walnut to the more neutral parquet flooring.
