Blue Bathroom Design with Metro Tiled Walls

In this bathroom design challenge players were asked to help Rachael who had fallen in love her new bathroom furniture and wanted to style her room with a coastal theme.

Before and After

The winning designer created a beautiful coastal themed blue bathroom design, with metro wall tiles and black and white floor. They achieved the blue theme with the carefully considered vanity and toilet unit blue colour choice. These were then augmented with the abstract line drawing (available from Abstract House) which adds to the blue design theme with its dominant colour. The choice of black and white bathroom flooring blends well with the blue bathroom furniture and provides a foundation for the other accessories.

The black and white floor which provided the foundation for this design is then augmented by the contemporary black framed wall mirrors (Available from Furniture Village) and towel radiator. The white theme is then reflected throughout the room via the metro tiles which give a vintage feel to the room that is further drawn on by the vintage style free standing bath.

The designer then lifts the room and gives an even more coastal theme with delicate placement of plants within this coastal blue bathroom design.  There is no doubt that Rachael will love this design!
