Classic Art Deco Interior Design
Our designers were asked in this challenge help Samantha who had bought some new art deco furniture for her first home. But wasn’t happy with the colour scheme of the room, she found it too dark. The designers selected the perfect colour scheme refreshed the room by changing the wall colour, flooring & some of the fabrics.
Before and After
The original bedroom idea combined the Art Deco interior design with blue walls, a gold rug, parquet flooring and beige curtains. The winning design morphed the room with a few simple switches that highlighted the key features within the room. The change of the silver chandeliers to circular gold lights that mirrored the coffee tables and reflected the rug selection was conceptually clever. The change of wall colour and choice of blinds over curtains lightened the room and also enabled the other features to shine!
