Earthy Loft Conversion
In this bedroom design idea challenge the designers were asked to assist Teresa who loved her new Barker Stonehouse Raul upholstered bed. She could not wait for it to be delivered to style her dream room around it. She had been taking inspiration from Instagram. Designers were asked to:
Rethink the wall & curtain colour;
Add a seat in daylight for reading; &
Think of ways to style the space.

The winning design, as voted for by our Instagram followers, has created an inspiring Boho bedroom idea, using the Room Creator App. The design shows how altering the colour palette of the room, removing some of the clutter and adding a few choice decorative pieces can really enhance an interior design.
This boho room room idea has many carefully blended features which compliment the earthy fabric bed!. Some of the key complimentary items are the rattan rocking chair and pendant light. The change of the wall paneling colours also added to the natural tones of the room.
In addition to the wall colours and additional items the designer has simplified the room and made some subtle changes such as the wall lights which frame the bed and the bright coloured plants and vases which have been clearly placed at strategic points around the room.
