Massachusetts Master Rework
In this challenge designers were asked to help Eleanor who has renovated her forever home in Massachusetts. The final room on her to-do list was her Master Bedroom. She had put lots of effort into the master ensuite design and fit-out, and needed help with the bedroom.
Before and After
The top design has simplified the master bedroom concept and given it a more open feel than its predecessor.
The addition of the pink wall to tie in with the curtains provides a completeness to the room.
The changing of the bed from a four poster to a gold open framed art deco bed makes the room feel more open. The pink shell accent chair also adds to the new décor feel of the room whilst linking with the pink walls and curtains.
The open feel is continued with the choice of storage furniture and desk.
